Positive: Ok for our one night stay. Good restaurant on site. Pleasant staff. Parking. Ample breakfast.

Negative: Room was very tired and old fashioned and would not have been comfortable for a longer stay. Toilet compartment in the room was tiny - difficult to even get in! The water was only tepid in the evening, but good and hot the following morning. As usual with French hotels, no tea or coffee in the room - would have been nice after a long day's drive. Not really walkable to get into Chatel itself.

Summary: Overnight in the outskirts of Chatel before our main ski trip.
